In the aftermath of L'Orange's 2014 album The Orchid Days, the After The Flowers EP is a warm vignette- a glimpse into life after the end of the world. Waking up to a surreal heavenscape, our tragic figure searches for his place somewhere between life and death.
Expanding on the themes of love and loss, L'Orange teams up with artists Chuck Inglish, Meyhem Lauren, Red Pill and producer Amerigo Gazaway to bring us a stream of consciousness epilogue to his 2014 album The Orchid Days.

CunninLynguists ft. Blu & Psalm One | The Morning
The Morning is one of the recently released tracks off the CunninLynguists newest album Strange Journey Volume 3. The album is to be officially released on April 1st, but up until the official release date, you can download the album for no charge, or whatever you'd like to offer up.
"We were going to make it free on March 31st to our fans as a thank you for helping us make the record, but The Internets decided to leak it -- and "ripping groups" weren't involved in making this record, so fuck 'em...we're putting the deluxe digital edition up for free right now! "Burn it off the fucking internet, and bump it outside..." You can still pre-order "The Rocket Booster Pack", but "The Format Pack" has sold out! Peace!" - Kno
Stream/download and if you enjoy what you hear, be sure to pick it up at CunninLynguists.com. West Coasters can also show your support by attending any of their Strange Universe Tour stops.
Strange Journey Vol 3 will consist of fan input for the first ever crowd-sourced album. The role of A&R will be filled by the fans.
The first ever truly crowd-sourced album. Not happy simply “crowd-funding” a release via Kickstarter like so many other artists, Deacon The Villain, Natti & Kno asked their fans for no money — instead they spent a year interacting with fans via social media & allowing them to vote on guest artists, suggest song concepts, letting them peek in on studio sessions & make decisions on album artwork.

Epicly Later'd: Brandon Westgate (Part 1, 2, 3) | SkateLife
Brandon Westgate's part in Stay Gold was fucking awesome. To people really paying attention, this was not much of a surprise—he's been killing it for about 6 years now. Brandon is usually the kind of person that people write about by saying "he lets his skating do the talking," and that really doesn't work for our purposes, so Patrick went up to Wareham and coaxed Brandon into talking about cranberry bogs, lawn mower parts, and dentists who trade Vicodins for BJs.
Part 2
You know when the Dalai Lama dies and all the older monks go out and scour the country side for his reincarnation? That's kind of what Steve Rodriguez does every time someone is poached from his team. Instead of laying out bells, glasses, and other assorted Lama possessions on a blanket to see if any of the young Lama candidates recognize them, Steve has a demo at Solstice Skate Shop in New Bedford, Massachusetts and lets the next big thing skateboarding come to him.
Part 3
In this particular episode of the Brandon Westgate series, not only is the skating the gnarliest, but an old lady tries to impede his efforts in constructing the perfect video part.

Video Girl | Movie | Must Watch
Just watched a dope movie on Netflix, featuring Meagan Good, Haylie Duff, Ruby Dee, Lisa Raye, Adam Senn, Paul Ben Victor, Melyssa Ford, Bun B, Bobby Valentino, Hoobastank, Juelz Santana, Max Minelli, Webbie, Esther Baxter, Suelyn Medeiros, Angela Lola Luv and many more. It is based on a True Story and I definitely recommend it for everyone, especially women. It made me think of the relationships in the art form and how to respect it like I always been. Some shady things go down in this movie that's based on reality. Anyhow, the movie came out late April of 2011 via AMC Theatres, but I'm glad Netflix is now streaming it. Its a great movie. Below is the trailer.
