Barbz waited all day for Nicki Minaj to drop her eagerly anticipated video for “Pills N Potions.” And then into the night. Nick made them stay up way late, but it was well worth it when the elegant, subdued clip finally dropped early Tuesday morning (June 10).
Gone are the wacky wigs and personas of Nicki’s past, in their place a cigarette-smoking Minaj in simple makeup against muted backgrounds singing the majestic song while crying silver tears, shining a grill, wearing Playboy bunny ears and chilling with a shirtless, bearded Game.
In what looks like a set for a high fashion shoot, Nicki emotes through the tune’s yearning lyrics under CGI pink clouds alongside fluffy bunnies smoking E-cigs and melting powder blue mansions in the hills.

The animatic was presented on 10/17/13. The video was planned with shooting completed exactly one month later on 11/17/13 . The final edit with animation was completed by 12/21/13. The video was premiered at the Atlanta Landmark Midtown Art Cinema on 2/7/14 & in Detroit at The Fillmore Theater for Dilla Day on 2/8/14. Serrano Shoots Cuba | VICE
Andres Serrano has come a long way since submerging a crucifix in his own urine. We followed the controversial artist around Cuba as he created a new body of work, photographing the country's influential figures, political leaders, the poor, the rich, and the dead.
Shon Roka (pronounced Shaun Roca) the DJ also known as Shaun Ortega was born on the west-side of Chicago. He started gaining fame as a bboy in 1991 and later became a member of a well known crew called the BRICKHEADZ. He would perform for such artist and events such as The Roots, KRS One, Immortal Technique, Dougie Fresh, Common, Rhymefest, Cypress Hill, Pharoah Monch, Nas, Diddy, Mariah Carey, Taste of Chicago, Lollapolooza, Looptopia, B96 Summer Bash just to name a few. The BRICKHEADZ also won many breakin' competition nationally and internationally. While Shon Roka was being active as a bboy he was working on his craft of being a DJ.
DJing for w/ Nike, Jordan, Under Armour, Adidas, Vans, Uprise (Chicago) Skateshop for numerous in-stores, sporting events, galleries and corporate outings. Also Shon Roka is a resident DJ post Covid in Chicago at McGee's, Tantrum, Imbibe and Harbee's. While being a DJ, he has been teaching music production and the Art of Skateboarding through Maggie Daley's After School Matters. Also known as Gallery 37.

Baby Alpaca | Wild Child | Official Video

A few years ago I spent a week in the Sahara desert. Being only with the sand and sky gave me a clarity that I'd never experienced before. In conceptualizing the video for "Wild Child," I found surrealism was the best way to emulate the feeling that I had in the Sahara. The video has been a collaboration and project of love with friends and fellow artists: Brian Leckrone and Adrian Stucker executed the shoot on the outskirts of Palm Springs, while artist and special effects genius Aaron Maurer handled all the post-production magic.
We'd like to thank everyone that helped us—especially the man in the parking lot that let us drive his Plymouth, The Row for making fit-for-the-desert leather pants, and John Varvatos for creating Converse sneakers that can walk the dunes for miles.
