Cassidy: 50 Cent Should Put Up Money on Me vs. Eminem
Cassidy shared his thoughts on Keith Murray vs. Fredro Starr and the lyrical talent of Eminem in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV.
Cassidy likes the fact that Keith and Fredro have the courage to step into the ring, however, he doesn't like the fact that they are going to be battling over beats. He thinks that battles should be conducted without any musical help, and referenced his past battle with Freeway and how he defeated him while Freeway was asking to put a beat on. Cassidy then addressed the idea of Eminem stepping back into the ring and whether or not he views him as one of the best lyricists in the world.
Cassidy has never seen Eminem battle outside of the movie "8 Mile," and doesn't necessarily think that he is as "unbeatable" as many people believe he is. He would be willing to battle Eminem and have 50 Cent put up money on the battle - money that Cassidy is confident he could take.

Heavy Hitters vs Def Jam Family Fall Classic 2014 Softball Game
This past weekend The Heavy Hitters took on Def Jam in the Family Fall Classic 2014 Softball Game. The game went into extra innings which Def Jam won off a walk off hit. The biggest highlight of the night is that the two sides was able to raise $5,000 to split between Baby Buggy and other corporations. Salute to both the Heavy Hitters and Def Jam for putting together a great game in the rain.

Classic Battle: Cassidy vs. Freeway (Put A Beat On)
The Cassidy vs. Freeway match is one of the most classic rap battles in Hip Hop, and has helped to play a role in the extreme popularity that the sport has gained over the years. While both men put forth a great effort, Freeway's request to put on a beat by the end of the battle was translated as a sign of forfeiting the match. Cassidy's relentless punchline style helped to influence the bar structures of many Battle Rappers who are popular today.
Interestingly enough, this battle was instigated by none-other-than Jay Z. Cassidy shared the backstory to his and Freeway's lyrical clash during a recent interview with VladTV, where Cassidy recalled Jay Z "talking crazy" and downplaying his lyrical skill. This lead Cass to challenge anyone from Jay's camp, which resulted in him exchanging bars with Freeway.

Since 1998, Cellspace has been home to various dance events such as Mighty 4, Solidify, Momentum, Who Can Roast the Most, Burning Sessions and other well known events. Sadly Cellspace will be closing its doors for good at the end of the 2014 year, however Vandor Whacko Hill and other dancers in the community will be hosting a final jam celebrating Cellspace and it's history within the bay area. The goal of this jam is to raise funds to secure a new practice spot in for SF dancers. This will be an all ages event so bring the kids and expose them to something great!
