Jonwayne | Rhythm Roulette
For this installment of Rhythm Roulette, we linked up with the man who tears down shows in Teva sandals, Stones Throw Records Producer/rapper Jonwayne. We took Jonwayne to Poobah Records in Pasadena, CA to pick out three records while blindfolded. The fun begins once we start to witness what he came up with. Out of the three records, he ended up going drawing joints from The Ritchie Family's Give Me A Break, as well as The Stylistics' Sun & Soul record he considered using to be "cheating," because it's a given that there is good shit on there. Nonetheless, your boy crafted two joints back-to-back for your listening pleasure.

Right now we are in the process of trying to raise money for her funeral, I will also be making a video on this later today. In the meantime, here's how you can help the family.

Dennis Infante x Strife | Monthly Mixtape
Dennis Infante is a dancer and DJ from the Bay Area, CA. He currently dances with SF's locking crew, GroovMekanex, and also The MuthaFunkers. He remains active in the dance community whether it's on stage, in cyphers/battles, or judging/DJing at various events, and is also the co-founder of onecypher.com, street dance website.
Throughout the course of his dance/DJ life, Dennis has shared stages with artists like Vikter Duplaix, Rich Medina, Evelyn Champagne King, Pete Rock, Premier, Black Eyed Peas, Rahzel, Souls of Mischief, Jesse Boykins III, Teeko, Max Kane, Swift Rock, Goldenchyld, and also played at jams such as Mighty 4, Freestyle Session, All The Way Live, SouthBound x House Dance Conference, and The 3Styles Battle.

He started gaining fame as a bboy in 1991 and later became a member of a well known crew called the BRICKHEADZ. He would perform for such artist and events such as The Roots, KRS One, Immortal Technique, Dougie Fresh, Common, Rhymefest, Cypress Hill, Pharoah Monch, Nas, Diddy, Mariah Carey, Taste of Chicago, Lollapolooza, Looptopia, B96 Summer Bash just to name a few. The BRICKHEADZ also won many breakin' competition nationally and internationally. While Shon Roka was being active as a bboy he was working on his craft of being a DJ.
DJing for w/ Nike, Jordan, Under Armour, Adidas, Vans, Uprise (Chicago) Skateshop for numerous in-stores, sporting events, galleries and corporate outings. Also Shon Roka is a resident DJ post Covid in Chicago at McGee's, Tantrum, Imbibe and Harbee's. While being a DJ, he has been teaching music production and the Art of Skateboarding through Maggie Daley's After School Matters. Also known as Gallery 37.

Our Part 1 Interview with Jon Cruz aka Do-Knock (Battle Monkeys, Full Force, Super Cr3w) explores his beginnings of Hip Hop and Bboy'ing. Learning from his brother, watching old VHS tapes, breaking with SFA (sent from above), and his first jam Bboy Summit '99.
Do-Knock shares a lot of knowledge about what breaking inspired him to be, overcoming teachers telling him he couldn't, and a great story about his transition from "Baby Legs" to "Do Knock."
