De La Soul ft. The Spirit Of WU | Get Away | Hip Hop
Not every day do we get the chance to listen to a new release from legendary hip-hop collective De La Soul, but the trio are back with something to spark their fuse whilst still in the early stages of the year. Their latest single titled "Get Away" is fully reminiscent of our knowledge of their work, which sees them taking a well-known sample from the intro of Wu-Tang Clan's Wu-Tang Forever album back in 1997. The reason for including "The Spirit Of The Wu" in the title is simply out of sheer respect for the New York heavyweights, as it sounds pretty similar to something that the crew would be together.
