He started gaining fame as a bboy in 1991 and later became a member of a well known crew called the BRICKHEADZ. He would perform for such artist and events such as The Roots, KRS One, Immortal Technique, Dougie Fresh, Common, Rhymefest, Cypress Hill, Pharoah Monch, Nas, Diddy, Mariah Carey, Taste of Chicago, Lollapolooza, Looptopia, B96 Summer Bash just to name a few. The BRICKHEADZ also won many breakin' competition nationally and internationally. While Shon Roka was being active as a bboy he was working on his craft of being a DJ.
DJing for w/ Nike, Jordan, Under Armour, Adidas, Vans, Uprise (Chicago) Skateshop for numerous in-stores, sporting events, galleries and corporate outings. DabsMyla | POW WOW Hawaii
For those of you who weren't able to make it out to Oahu recently to POW!WOW! HAWAI'I , check out the work of Dabs & Myla, who teamed up with their good friend, Misery, to contribute a surreal seascape mural to this year's event. The mural can be found the corner of Koula and Auahi streets in the Kaka'ako district of Honolulu.

For LRG's second installment of our Spring 14 lookbook, we teamed up with New York-based photographer Brook Bobbins and some of the freshest talent in the rap game. Waving the banner of underground inventive, Pro Era (CJ Fly, Statik Selektah, RokaMouth, Dirty Sanchez, Powers Pleasant), Dyme-a-Duzen, Boogz Boogetz, and Black Cobain. Longtime LRG family member, living example of overground effective, Raekwon the Chef made the cypher complete for LRG's debut line for 2014. Underground inventive overground effective.

KarmaloopTV x LRG x Pro Era Present: "47Piiirates" by Capital Steez (Ft. Dirty Sanchez). Produced by labelmate oG Swank, this video was released at 11:47 on 12/23/13, marking the one year anniversary of when Steez passed away.
As one of Steez's last recorded videos, 47 Piiirates is comprised entirely of lost footage that was passed down to the KarmaloopTV team. It took a team of nearly 20 musicians, graffiti artists, videographers, fans and locals to bring this video to life.

Off The Record: Christian Rich
Responsible for Earl Sweatshirt's "Chum" from his recently released album Doris, production duo Christian Rich is the focus of our ongoing Off The Record series. Recalling bringing in Chad Hugo of The Neptunes fame, watch as we're walked through the process of finding the initial melody and the happy accident of recording several vocal samples. The organic and raw nature of the session is evidenced not only by their recollection, but by the final product that is "Chum."

LRG Fall 2013 ft. Travis Scott
We invaded Portland, Oregon, the "City of Roses," to shoot our Fall 2013 "Upper Echelon" lookbook/video featuring Grand Hustle rapper/G.O.O.D. Music producer Travi$ Scott - who also served as Creative Director - and LRG team rider Chris Grenier. Matching the lush yet industrial terrain of the city, the Fall '13 collection features an assortment of camouflage, all-over prints, bold graphic tees, and a variety of accessories that are all battle tested. Upper Echelon is a cut above the rest.
