Step x Step had the great honor of visiting The Bboy Spot in Orlando last week and MexOne gave us a tour of the facility! The Bboy Spot is known for some of the hypest bboy jams including Outbreak and Red Bull BC One Cypher and is also home to Biggest & Baddest worldwide distribution.
MexOne gave us some history on himself, Unique Styles Crew, The Bboy Spot, and more. We appreciate Mex taking the time to show us the spot before it's doors close in July!
They will be moving their Biggest & Baddest production around the corner, with hopes to open another spot for Bboys & Bgirls at a different location in the future.

DJ Premier | Serato Icon Artist Series
DJ Premier is the latest Serato Icon. A true cornerstone of hip-hop and a key figure in the development of the culture. An era-defining DJ and producer, his signature style was a blueprint for the underground and influenced a generation. Probably most well known as one half of Gang Starr, there's a large chunk of an entire genre that he's directly responsible for. He's a legend for die-hard hip-hop fiends but also a household name.

Black Milk | Rhythm Roulette
On this episode of Rhythm Roulette we linked up with one of our favorite producers here at Mass Appeal, Black Milk. Fresh off the release of his LP No Poison No Paradise and Glitches in the Break EP, Black Milk invited us down to his studio in Dallas, TX to participate in the blindfolded challenge.

#SXSW Vince Staples | Sway In The Morning
Vince Staples holds the west coast down while at SXSW this past week in Austin Texas. The Long Beach rapper explains the segregation of the area and how each direction has different races. Staples is currently traveling with ScHoolBoy Q for the Oxymoron tour, and thinks that Q deserves everything he's getting. Vince isn't swayed by rappers "drug dealing" stories and says "don't send someone else to jail with your music. Before freestyling over B.o.B.'s hit ft. Future "Ready", he shares some of the most valuable advice he has received which was from friend Mac Miller.

SKILL BRAT RENEGADES | BREAK AND DESTROY | NATIONAL WORKSHOP TOUR
A national workshop tour is beginning to taking place.
Bboys Kid David, Casper and Luigi embark on a 16 city tour that will take them from California to as far east as Louisiana.
The fellas will be driving from city to city sharing their knowledge of the dance and culture. Every stop will be unique and every workshop will be exciting. The guys will be joined by Cros One (Freestyle Session) and Mason Rose(videographer) as he documents the journey.
This tour shows how far we’ve come as a community. You can go back 5 years ago and it was not possible. If you live in one of these cities or anywhere near, we encourage you to attend the workshops and be a part of history.
