LUDO | CHAOS THEORY | NEW VIDEO

Last summer, Paris-based contemporary artist Ludo took the streets of Thailand as part of a series of global street expeditions.
"Thailand's capital was an obvious choice to hit for many reasons," he says. "First, because the city is not over saturated at all with art on walls. That makes it a new, interesting place to discover and a virgin land to cover."
Perhaps more important was his second reason: "The endless chaos. The unlimited mix of noises, smells, and colors."
He showcased all these things in his new film, The Chaos Theory, a video created as a way to push his exhibition of the same name at Lazarides Gallery.
As for possible reasons behind the chaos in the world, Ludo says this: "Disorder creates order or order motivates our disorganization."

In a little over a month, Little Dragon will be putting out Nabuma Rubberband, their first album in three years.
The follow-up to 2011′s nearly perfect Ritual Union is shaping up to be quite a release, as heard by lead single “Klapp Klapp” and now “Paris.”
BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe put up a radio play of the song for fans to stream, and it gives us a peek at the groovy, electro-soul “Paris.” Frontwoman Yukimi Nagano will no doubt rock the song live with some great moves that it inevitably inspires.
We’ll have to wait until May 13 though for Nabuma Rubberband to be released via Loma Vista.

Proletarian French Voguers
Voguing is an urban dance inspired by Vogue Magazine that grew out of New York in the 1980s, where dancers gather to compete in Voguing "battles." The movement has since grown in France, thanks to its pioneers and to the success of singers like Madonna, Lady Gaga or Beyonce.
Lasseindra is one of the main drag queen leaders of the movement, based in Paris, who started competing in dance battles and organizing competitions at a young age. She was soon after recruited by House of Ninja, one of the most famous collectives that are skilled in Voguing.

Red Bull BC One 2014 | The Countdown Begins
It only seems like five minutes ago that we were watching Hong 10 celebrate his record-equalling second Red Bull BC One world title in Seoul, but this week the schedule for the 2014 competition was revealed.
The biggest news is that Paris will host the centrepiece World Final for the first time since 2008 – it’s been a long time away from one of the strongest B-Boy scenes on the planet. France has already produced two champions – Lilou in 2005 and 2009 and Mounir, who triumphed in Rio de Janeiro in 2012 – but can it produce a winner on home soil?
The video below should give you an idea of what to expect from the night.
The World Final is not until November 29 though and there's a long road ahead for any potential new champion. There's also a chance for you to get involved in action live, as B-Boys go head-to-head in a series of 33 national cyphers, starting with Cairo, Egypt, on February 28, 2014.
