NehruvianDOOM | Caskets

The teenage Brooklyn rapper Bishop Nehru has teamed up with the masked underground rap eminence DOOM to form a duo called NehruvianDOOM, and their self-titled album is coming out later this year. We’ve already heard two of the LP’s tracks, “Darkness (HBU)” and “Om,” but we haven’t heard one thing from the LP yet, and that’s DOOM delivering a proper verse on the album. But on “Caskets,” the latest track from the EP, DOOM opens things up with a nicely grizzled appearance before Nehru takes over the track with young-scholar energy. DOOM also produced the track, and it’s got his woozily melodic dusty jazz-influenced fingerprints all over it. Listen below.

NehruvianDOOM is out 10/6 on Lex.

CASKETS is taken from NEHRUVIANDOOM, the forthcoming album by Bishop Nehru & DOOM.

Available to pre order now and released on October 6th UK / 7th US

Bishop Nehru | Mobb Dizzle | Video

Bishop Nehru Will Be Making Much Noise In 2014 Droppin A Collaborative Album With MF DOOM Titled NehruvianDOOM Along With Three Other Projects.

Bishop Nehru seeped onto the scene last year with his Nehruvia mixtape. That project presented the (then) 16-year-old rapper from upstate New York as someone blessed with an endearingly slurry flow and a mature and accomplished take on the world.

Clarks Originals | MF DOOM | Documentary

DOOM Announces & Previews Signature Clarks Wallabee Shoes Collaboration

DOOM, who is part of Clarks' Originals Pioneers 2014 campaign, is part of a preview video and mini-documentary released by the footwear and apparel company, which are slated to be released March 13.

"DOOM’s first job as an Originals Pioneer was to co-create a new version of his favorite Clarks Originals shoe," Clarks says on its site. "He was quick to choose the Wallabee – a shoe that boasts a long heritage with hip hop. DOOM has carefully considered every element of this design, from the reflective, metal-like stitching, to the mask logo embossed in to the heel of the shoe."
