October 11th, 2014 (prelims) – qualifying battles run from 3 PM to ~11 PM
October 12th (main event) – final round battles + Ultimate Circle run from 3:15 PM to 11 PM

The Silverback Open Championships is a Pro Breaking Tour Champions Series event.

Competitors who wish to be eligible to compete at the Silverback Open Championships are required to be registered with UDEF and classified as TOUR COMPETITORS. Such TOUR COMPETITOR registrations can be completed FREE online at:

Silverback Open Championships competitors must confirm their registrations with UDEF as TOUR COMPETITORS with Cracker Zacks to be eligible to compete in the bboy/bgirl battles, and to be added to the official registration list for this Pro Breaking Tour Champions Series competition. Please Inbox (via Facebook) Cracker Zacks all emails used to register on the UDEF website, along with the bboy/bgirl names from each crew. Please mention you are signing up for the Silverback Open Championships. o $500 for each quarterfinal loser (5th-8th)

1-v-1 B-Girl Battle Prize Distribution:

o $2,500 for first place
o $1,000 for second place
o $500 for each semifinal loser
o $125 for each quarterfinal loser

$5,000 Cash. To qualify, all b-girls must enter the 1-v-1 bboy/bgirl open bracket and showcase. The judges will select the Top 8 b-girls to compete in the $5,000 B-Girl Battle taking place Saturday evening, October 11th! All competitors must be registered UDEF Tour Competitors!

3-v-3 Crew Prize Distribution:

o $4,500 for first place + 3 Round trip flight to Freestyle Session Word Finals (November 8th & 9th; San Diego, CA)
o $2,400 for second place
o $1,650 for each semifinal loser, (3rd-4th)
o $600 for each quarterfinal loser (5th-8th)
o $300 for each Round of 16 loser (9th-16th)
o $150 for each Round of 32 loser (17th-32nd)

Ultimate Circle Prize Distribution:

To close the event, The Silverback Open will execute the Pro Am Ultimate Circle established in the mid-late 90's by none other than the legendary Speedy Legs. The top 10 participants in this cypher will be awarded $1,000 each!

PEEP THE DESCRIPTION: On Sunday, October 12, 2014, from 12-6pm, hundreds of cars will grace the Navy Pier, causing one heck of a windstorm. The hottest cars and kicks from in and around the Chicago area will be on display, truly bringing you the “Best of the best”. You can expect to see some of the most influential people within the scene present, as well as the likes of official NUROTAG hostess and fitness Mega Model, Nicole Mejia, a special guest DJ and a display of some of the freshest kicks around for the #SHOWUSYOURKICKS showcase. Also, the NUROTAG team will be hosting an official “Models Lounge”, where you can catch some of your favorite models signing photographs, as well as taking pictures with fans.

NUROTAG prides itself on bringing you more than just a car show, but a show that also incorporates aspects of the lifestyle that surrounds the scene. Those things being the hottest fashions, Art, and games. With that being said, for the Chicago edition of NUROTAG, there will be a graffiti artist expo, underground apparel and a full video game experience.

It’s time to get those kicks out the vault and time to get your cars washed, polished and waxed because we’re coming for you, Chicago!! Be prepared to witness it all at NUROTAG
