Joell Ortiz chopped it up with VladTV correspondent Jenny Boom Boom and shared his love for Bobby Shmurda, mainly because he feels Shmurda's video, "Hot N****" showed the real daily life of a kid from Flatbush.
When Jenny compares Ortiz's group Slaughterhouse to Yonkers spitters The Lox, Ortiz can see the similarities, and says he loves running into to those guys because they are genuinely great people that he can talk to about real life situations.
Ortiz is then asked who his favorite female rapper was coming up, and he responds with Lauryn Hill, saying she was rhyming just as well as her male counterparts in an era where everyone had skills.

He started gaining fame as a bboy in 1991 and later became a member of a well known crew called the BRICKHEADZ. He would perform for such artist and events such as The Roots, KRS One, Immortal Technique, Dougie Fresh, Common, Rhymefest, Cypress Hill, Pharoah Monch, Nas, Diddy, Mariah Carey, Taste of Chicago, Lollapolooza, Looptopia, B96 Summer Bash just to name a few. The BRICKHEADZ also won many breakin' competition nationally and internationally. While Shon Roka was being active as a bboy he was working on his craft of being a DJ.
DJing for w/ Nike, Jordan, Under Armour, Adidas, Vans, Uprise (Chicago) Skateshop for numerous in-stores, sporting events, galleries and corporate outings. Also Shon Roka is a resident DJ post Covid in Chicago at McGee's, Tantrum, Imbibe and Harbee's. While being a DJ, he has been teaching music production and the Art of Skateboarding through Maggie Daley's After School Matters. Also known as Gallery 37.

When AMC's Breaking Bad premiered in 2008, one of Alabama's most successful meth cooks was already knee deep in building a massive meth empire. His name? Walter White. A Day In The Life of Ayah Marar | Life And Time
UK based vocalist, Ayah Marar, adorns her tracks with a balance of delicate and boisterous harmonies. She lent her voice to Calvin Harris' "Thinking About You" - which has been a big hit in the UK and here in America. Ayah's new single, "Beg Borrow Steal," is from her debut album (The Real) and will be her first single released in North America.
