Intel Music Group presents "NO PROGRAM DIRECTOR" ft. special guest DJ Handz Solo | May 3rd 2023
"NO PROGRAM DIRECTOR" is a show of DJs for the people. Although we are highly considered and respected as hip hop slash break djs. We love all types of music and dj for all types of events. It's part of our lifestyle at Intel Music Group. So from time to time someone might feel like spinning funk or reggae, who knows, when someone gets that feeling they just do. For me it's all about the sonics and vibrations in the moment. We also feature other special guest deejays but also other artists in the culture and out the culture. Like I said a show for the people. It's "NO PROGRAM DIRECTOR" we do it the way we love it.
Passed shows featured the legendary 2X Grammy Nominated DJ/Producer Terry Hunter, DJ Charlie Chase (of the Cold Crush Brothers), DJ NONSTOP (The Heavy Hitters), Pumpin' Pete (2x Chicago DMX Champion), DJ V-Dub (CoalitionDJs), DJ Livia (You Better Ask Somebody) and many, many more.
Feel free to drop by and show some love as we go live with the resident djs first. Moz Definite, DJ Illanoiz, Jaidot, E-Double and myself (Shon Roka) kick off the show live at our studio Intel Music Group in Chicago.
The show is live streamed every Wednesday 4pm - 8pm on Twitch Here: https://www.twitch.tv/intelmusicgroup

Midway Radio 66 | Moz Definite & DJ Illanoiz
When I think of Moz and Illa (DJ Illanoiz), I think about the classic grind of Chicago Hip Hop DJ's and life. The conversation of these individuals are very much needed because there is not artistic development, there is no blue print for this lifestyle. When you give yourself to this culture you are young, you are in the movement, you are in its essence. As you get older and the essence goes away for a moment and life hits you with the ups and downs a light bulb goes off. Moz and Illa are not just talented their a solid core of Chicago hip hop who I say have extra light bulbs. I could tell you my favorite Moz and Illa stories but I'd rather you listen to this and learn some of their history. Thanks Midway Doc. Documentation is the wave.

Fatel Flows | Plight of a Soldier
This album "Plight of a Soldier" takes me back when I first discovered Fatel Flows. I was at the Bassment store going through CDs while setting up for some internet website photos. Came across his cd "Born to Lose, Destined to Succeed", put it on through the shops speakers and it was instantly something I connected with. The production selection and griddy lyrics from the latino emcee from Little Village in Chicago was a underground favorite.
Like I month later, I ended up DJing for Confusion Entertainment in Schaumburg at some club I can't think of the name at the moment and guess who was performing there? Yep, Fatel Flows. At the end of the night I introduced myself and told him I appreciated the album and was playing it at The Bassment. Over the years we established a relationship in this industry. I can't tell you how many people started with me when they started throwing events. All I can say is "The Streets Are Watching".
Back to this ablum, I started reminiscing some times. From the intro on it takes you on a journey through the eyes of Fatel and his featured artist. I was gonna point out some favorites but I'm not gonna limit it to a few tracks. If I had to reference a track to show Fatel Flows to someone interested. I would send them "Resurrection". Check out the album for yourself. Let me know your favorite in the comments if that's something you like to do. The only way we can build and show our appreciating for something is together.
If you are into hip hop on a wide scale, you will make sure you put Fatel Flows on your list of great artist. Don't forget to put from "Chicago" on that list because he won't let you.
Shout out to the DeLaRosa family.
