Streets by VICE: Chicago | Halsted Street

Chicago is one of the most diverse in the country, and also one of the most segregated. It is a city neighborhoods with distinct identities, their own celebration and and their own pain. But beneath Chicago’s divisions is a city rich with pride and soul. And Halsted Street, the city’s backbone, cuts through these worlds and tells the story of how people connect in this complicated city.
