In the second episode of Vinyl Destination, Season 2, DJ Jazzy Jeff and his crew make rounds on the West Coast. Their first stop is San Francisco, and the name of the game is gadgets. Jeff pays a visit to DJ Tech Tools where he puts on his designer hat to create something really cool. Then Jeff heads to entertainment technology giant Gracenote where he participates in an intimate interview with his good friend and president of the company, Stephen White. And if you thought it couldn't get better, Jeff and the guys meet up with the legendary Qbert at the Thud Rumble office to talk music and gadgets before a night of a lifetime at The Mighty with DJ ShortKut.
In Vegas, the guys discover that Way Too Many, literally means Way Too Many at a 90's themed party at Ghostbar in The Palms Hotel and Casino. Or was it a furry party? Either way there's plenty of music, dancing and drinking to go around.
Jeff closes out his trip in the Big Apple to pay a visit to some other longtime friends. Find out who in this episode of Vinyl Destination.

Shon Roka (pronounced Shaun Roca) the DJ also known as Shaun Ortega was born on the west-side of Chicago. He started gaining fame as a bboy in 1991 and later became a member of a well known crew called the BRICKHEADZ. He would perform for such artist and events such as The Roots, KRS One, Immortal Technique, Dougie Fresh, Common, Rhymefest, Cypress Hill, Pharoah Monch, Nas, Diddy, Mariah Carey, Taste of Chicago, Lollapolooza, Looptopia, B96 Summer Bash just to name a few. The BRICKHEADZ also won many breakin' competition nationally and internationally. While Shon Roka was being active as a bboy he was working on his craft of being a DJ.
DJing for w/ Nike, Jordan, Under Armour, Adidas, Vans, Uprise (Chicago) Skateshop for numerous in-stores, sporting events, galleries and corporate outings. Also Shon Roka is a resident DJ post Covid in Chicago at McGee's, Tantrum, Imbibe and Harbee's. While being a DJ, he has been teaching music production and the Art of Skateboarding through Maggie Daley's After School Matters. Also known as Gallery 37.
