El Michels Affair performing "Ala Vida" live at the legendary Diamond Mine Studios, Queens, New York. The original performance was a benefit for Crossing Point Arts.
Crossing Point's mission is to bring the healing and restorative power of the arts to survivors of human trafficking through expressive arts workshops, helping survivors to release their trauma, reclaim their once-silenced voices, and learn long-term coping strategies.

The BRICKHEADZ also won many breakin' competition nationally and internationally. While Shon Roka was being active as a bboy he was working on his craft of being a DJ.
DJing for w/ Nike, Jordan, Under Armour, Adidas, Vans, Uprise (Chicago) Skateshop for numerous in-stores, sporting events, galleries and corporate outings. Also Shon Roka is a resident DJ post Covid in Chicago at McGee's, Tantrum, Imbibe and Harbee's. While being a DJ, he has been teaching music production and the Art of Skateboarding through Maggie Daley's After School Matters. Also known as Gallery 37.

Big Crown Records is proud to present the first single from Holy Hive’s forthcoming debut full length Float Back To You.
The A side “Hypnosis” is an up number from The Hive that catches the listener from the first notes of Paul’s guitar. A good vibe tune inspired by the price you pay to stay out late at night and enjoy your life knowing you have work in the morning. Homer and Paul once again play up the fruitful relationship of oxpecker and rhino with Steinweiss’ infamous in the pocket drumming that Spring’s vocals float over. Harp and synth flourishes pepper the arrangement and the uber-catchy chorus makes this one a staple in their live set.

Sunny & The Sunliners | I Only Have Eyes For You
When it comes to Chicano / Lowrider Soul there are a few people who are credited as the founders of the genre, Sunny & The Sunliners are one of them, if not number one on that list. Similarly, when it comes to the tunes that define the genre, Smile Now, Cry Later is undoubtedly the anthem.The A side “Smile Now, Cry Later”, is a tune written by Sunny about his girlfriend at the time’s amazement of the difference between the man on stage and off. However, it went on to become a one-liner and a symbol of the Lowrider Soul culture. An absolute classic tune amongst Sweet Soul lovers, and also something of a slogan of the Lowrider Soul commu- nity which is tattooed on thousands and thousands of people along with the theater mask artwork from the LP cover.The B side, Sunny’s cover of The Flamingos “I Only Have Eyes For You” is a must have for the Slowie fans. Having never been pressed on 45, it rounds out this record amazingly. The plugside a big tune for Sunny that has seen pressings on at least four different label variations and the B side something that even the deepest collectors of the genre will have to pick up so they can spin.
