LOrange x Jeremiah Jae ft. Homeboy Sandman | Ignore The Man To Your Right | Official Video
Deep kick drums, ticking hi-hats, irregular rhythms, and Victrola static all over golden age vocalizations combine to provide the black & white soundscape over which Chicago emcee Jeremiah Jae delivers deadpan lyrics. Stones Throw spitter Homeboy Sandman ties his verbals to the track on the second verse to complete the unsettling song.
Taken by itself L'Orange & Jeremiah Jae's singles leave listeners adrift in an undefined world of prohibition rap - a artistic Hiphop version of 1930s gangster films. But as fans of L'Orange already know, making sense of the story as each piece of the puzzle unfolds is part of the experience.
Originally Premiered at Pigeons & Planes on March 7, 2016 http://pigeonsandplanes.com/2016/03/l...
From the album "The Night Took Us In Like Family"
Produced by L'Orange
Vocals by Jeremiah Jae
Guest vocals by Homeboy Sandman

Homeboy Sandman | America The Beautiful | New Video
Anthem & Homeboy Sandman present "America the Beautiful" from the album HALLWAYS http://stonesthrow.com/homeboysandman
"The video was shot entirely within a 5 or 6 block radius of the building where I grew up in Queens NY, with the exception of Little India which is right up the street in Jackson Heights. While we were there we stopped by 82nd and Roosevelt for a sec to capture some Mexican flavor too. We went up Broadway and caught that Asian flavor and up 57th Ave and caught the wall of black heroes which is way smaller now than when Popeye's bought that corner but still it was nice of them to preserve it. My neighborhood serves as a metaphor for the United States, with all the different flavors all mixed up making it work. And all the beauty of that." – Homeboy Sandman.

Homeboy Sandman | Atlantis | prod. Blu
Homeboy Sandman and Blu hooking up on a track, in any capacity, is a win for hip-hop.
In this case, it’s Boy Sand on the raps, while Blu handles the production. Coming off of the release of his collabo EP with Paul White, White Sands, Homeboy Sandman is now gearing up to release a full-length album in the fall. Title, producers, and track list TBD, but Boy Sand apparently has been working on a few dozen tracks this year, and this joint with Blu, “Atlantis,” is one of them – and the best of the batch you’ll hear on that LP.
Take a trip under the sea with Sandman, below, and take a trip to the livest venue in your city to see the man live on tour, this spring (dates below). What do you think?
