Game of Thrones Season 5 | A Day in the Life | Production Documentary

It should come as little surprise to learn that producing a single episode of HBO’s Game of Thrones is a Herculean effort. Spanning multiple locations like Belfast, Northern Ireland, Dubrovnik, Croatia and Sevilla and Osuna, Spain – and each with immaculate sets that transports the viewer into the fantasy realm – recently HBO crafted a short documentary unveiling the behind-the-scenes action that depicts what it takes to create the show. Shot in 3 of the 5 countries that feature as locations over the course of the same 24-hour period, interesting tidbits include the request of 60,000 extras to participate, the usage of the Plaza de Toros in Osuna, and the reveal that it takes 1000 crew members 120 days to bring Game of Thrones to life. Game of Thrones season 5 returns April 12
